It was a day of glamour, awards, incredible runaway presentation, convocation ceremony from the maiden graduation ceremony of Dreams College of Creative Arts. The theme for this years’s edition was “Fashion for Development”. Graduating students displayed an incredible collection based on different concepts and theme. Model after model walked down the runaway with some in very unique design and others more conventional designs.
Following the show, the top 4 best collection received Awards and also an opportunity to show case their collection on other upcoming fashion shows in Ghana.
Platinum Collection of the Year – Frederick Weekes Lutterodt
Gold Collection of the Year – Moses Ackon
Sliver College Of the Year – Afi Yayra Amenyah
Bronze Collection of the Year – Priscilla Manu Ansah
Present at the graduation ceremony were many fashion influencers and the Publisher, Editor – In – Chief of Glitz Africa Magazine, Executive Producer of Glitz Africa Fashion Week, The Iconic Claudia Lumor, who was honored for her innovative contribution towards Fashion Development and Fashion Education in Ghana. She adviced the new Graduates to take advantage of the numerous opportunities available to them in their sector.
She also emphasized on the need of the graduates learning from their mentors but not copying the ideas or the works of their mentors but must Dare to stand out with their own ideas. Stephenie Nyamekye was awarded overall Best Student for her outstanding performance.
