Depending on where you are in your locality in the West African region, The Harmattan is sometimes cold or hot! Regardless of this, one thing is very certain during this period; “Dryness overload”. Lol. I mean, it’s the ONLY time of year that the Northeasterly trade wind blowing from the Sahara Desert across West Africa into the Gulf of Guinea gets to “shine”.
And it brings along with it all the dryness and dust it can “gather”.
As such, we should also be ready to protect our skin against dryness and dehydration.
For some of us, we need a lot of moisturizing cream on our body on a “normal” day how much more in a season like this.
