In an Instagram post updated yesterday, Sudanese model Ajak Deng bowed out of the fashion Industry. Ajak Deng has modelled for a number of high profile designers including Dior, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Marc Jacobs, Chloe and Jean Paul Gaultier, and starred in campaigns for Topshop, Barneys, MAC and Levis. The Australian model has resigned due to ‘fakes and lies’ in the fashion industry.’ She also announced that she will be moving back to Australia to live a life she deserves which is real life .Ajak Deng came to Melbourne, Australia, in 2005, after her family fled Sudan as refugees. Her mother died in a refugee camp in Kenya whilst they were waiting to be resettled. Well, we wish her well but cant admit were a bit surprised about her decision.
