About Steve French

Steve French Oduro is a Fashion Artist from Ghana with a penchant for extravagant designs. He is inspired by the female form and abstract patterns and he is easily identified by his uniquely distinct silhouettes. He can be described as an unconventional designer who brings excitement and pleasure to the eye.

Born in 1993, drawing came about to Steve French when he was a young boy of eight. In the early 2000s, he started drawing cartoon characters and would pay close attention to the characters’ outfits. Not too long after that, he developed his avant-garde aesthetic and school desks, walls, dusty car windows and textbooks became his canvases.

Steve had his basic education at University Primary School (Accra – Legon) after which he studied Visual Arts at Apam Senior High School in the Central Region of Ghana.

Upon  graduating in 2012, he knew for sure that he wanted to become a fashion designer. Steve furthered his fashion education at Radford University College, in Greater Accra, Ghana. Since then, his designs/illustrations have caught the attention of both local and international fashionistas thanks to social media.

The issue was shot by the iconic model with her iPhone during the Covid19 isolation period!
We are excited to see Steve French soaring high and high. Keep up with this brand via @stevefrenchofficial on ig
