As the first to have an accredited Fashion Degree programme in Ghana, Radford University College has received local and international press coverage from CNN, Forbes and more due to the success stories of our graduating students. Some of our most distinct Fashion and Graphic designers include Nana MenyinKwofie, Afua Biney, Papa Oppong, Michael Owusu, Radiant Jackson, Nana K. Osei and Herman Kudiabor. These students went on to start their own companies and also work on manufacturing, production and design orders for establishments such as Woodin, Vlisco, Global Mammas and Ethical Fashion.
On Saturday, 2nd of July the fashion world gathers at the Kempinski hotel, Accra for the award winning annual Radford Graduates Fashion Show. Now in its fourth consecutive year, this event assists in introducing graduating design students to the world in order to help launch careers after University. Quoted once by an attendee as being “What Ghana has been waiting for”, the show starts at 4pm sharp for exhibition and 6pm for the runway show, ending at 9pm. Tickets are available for sale in either Standard or VIP (Fifty and onehundred cedis respectively). Interested parties can purchase them at Radford university Campus, East Legon and Woodin stores in Osu and Accra Mall.
